From starting her career in a Fortune 500 company to building a brand from scratch\, she has enjoyed progressing through the workplace as an active member of the ever-changing marketing world. DESCRIPTION:Before attending this course you either need to have attended 'Part one' of this series (intro to coding)\, or you need to have a basic understanding of coding HTML and CSS\n\n---------------------\n\nDespite being the most used programming language\, JavaScript is often misunderstood; treated as a necessary evil rather than celebrated for its vital role in shaping the web as we know it. However\, in the last ten years developments such as jQuery\, Backbone\, and Angular have slowly but surely brought JavaScript back into fashion. Now an enjoyable and desirable language to work with\, there’s never been a better time to pick up a few basics!\n\nJavaScript can and has been used in various ways - in games\, chat clients\, apps - but this course will focus on JavaScript in its overwhelmingly most common role within the web browser. You will not only learn the fundamentals of the language\, but how to apply them practically through a series of small projects designed to mimic the day-to-day uses that working engineers put them to.\n\nBook here!

DESCRIPTION:Tech 4 Teens workshops are for girls interested in Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Maths. All of the sessions will be really interactive\, creative and fun! Throughout 2017 we will meet up once a month to get inspired and meet like minded girls. We will be learning new things and learning from each other!\n\nThe kind of activities you will get involved in are:\n\nLearning coding using different languages\n\nVideography workshop with Apple\n\nDiscovering 3D printing\n\nCreating wearable Tech\n\nField trips to maker spaces and the University of Liverpool's engineering lab\n\nThe sessions are FREE to attend thanks to the support of the Big Lottery fund but you do need to register so that we know how many girls will attend.\n\nBOOK HERE!
