LGG and DoES Liverpool have teamed up for an afternoon session covering the basics of 3D design and 3D printing.

3D printing has enabled scientists to create body parts, clothing, musical instruments and even PIZZA (yeah, we’d never be an american pizza slice convert). This 3 hour session will cover;

· Learn how to use OnShape, a free cloud based 3D modelling software

· How do design models optimized for 3D printing

· Setting up and how to use a 3D printer

· Finishing and painting 3D prints

For the session, you’ll need a laptop and to be signed up for a free account at www.onshape.com . Sessions are suitable for ages 14+

Costs are £5 to cover materials and includes a free 3D printed Liverpool Girl Geeks keychain
